It has grown from a small independent family business, originally known as the Royal Hotel to what is today a hugely respected and classic hotel on the coastline of Funchal in Madeira. The hotel has grown so much over the past decade that it has been extended twice to enable it to cope with the demands of today’s modern traveller. The new Royal Savoy Vacation Club was built at a cost of over €40 million and consists of luxury studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. All of these apartments use the facilities and amenities provided by the Royal Savoy. (See Below)
